Of all the traditional and modern methods available to people, because of innovations in <a href="http://www.emergencyfoodstoragepros.com/">food storage</a> procedures, the ones that best preserve freshness, taste, flavor and texture are preferred, as people will not want to compromise on food quality.<br />
Some of the methods of food preservation and storage are dehydration or storage procedures, freeze and/or spray-drying processes, irradiation by rays, burying food under the ground under specific and controlled heating conditions, treating food with friendly bacteria to offset the effects of harmful bacteria and thus prevent contamination and rotting and spoilage of food  and many others.<br />

Cold storage procedures are used to preserve potatoes in very large quantities. Drying processes remove water content in grains like rice, wheat, maize etc to preserve them for years and years.</p>
